RB Studios Video Production received 2 awards at the 2008 Utah Professional Videographers Association 7th Annual Creative Excellence Awards Competition in Salt Lake City. Owner Russ Broadhead said, “We were awarded 2nd place for The Batty Bride & Groom Production (we call it the Bridal Film) and 3rd place for Chelsi Petersen’s “Celebration of Life” Film. RB Studios Video Production has been in business since 2005 and produces a limited number of wedding films each year. They have filmed more that 50 wedding and don’t just produce wedding films. In January 2009 they completed a Book of Mormon scripture trivia DVD game titled “Remember The Word: The Book of Mormon Edition” which is available at Amazon.com and will soon be found in LDS bookstores across the United States.

RB Studios Video Production was established in 2005 in St. George, Utah and has shot over 40 weddings. RB Studios Video Production was presented with 3 awards at the 6th annual UPVA (Utah Professionals Videography Association) Creative Excellence Competition. They recieve 2nd place for their Love Story, 3rd for their Reception, and 3rd place for their post ceremony or temple film. Companies all over the state submitted films from last year and were judged by other professional videographers all over the world. “We were just excited to attend and even more excited that we were recognized by other professional videographer for our work! Many People think that a wedding video consists of only footage gathered on the wedding day, but that is not the case. The above is an example of a Love Story. It is a hybrid between the photo montage, couple interview, and date video. In a nutshell, the Love Story is a very entertaining way for those attending the wedding to see the couple interacting, growing up, and how they fell in love. The production is filmed, approved, and completed before the wedding to allow for viewing at the luncheon, dinner, or reception.
